The Soo, be it Story: Crafted with Love
Apr 17, 2026

The Idea Before the Idea
Every brand begins before the logo. Before the colour palette. Before the first post goes live.
It begins with a feeling.
A feeling that asks - what if a place didn't ask anything of you? No dress code. No expectation of productivity or occasion. No requirement to be anything other than exactly what you are that day – happy, distracted, creative, tired, celebratory, quiet, loud.
What if the space simply made room for all of it?
That feeling became the foundation. And from that foundation, we built everything else.

The Brand, Built from the Ground Up
Before anything tangible came to life, there was a blueprint.
A foundational document that didn’t just define the brand - it questioned it, stretched it, and gave it a soul. This blueprint became the common ground where ideas met intent, and where teams began building something together.
It wasn’t about deliverables. It was about co-creating something from zero.
The philosophy was clear from day one:
authenticity, aesthetics, experiences, and expectations.
Everything that followed - the identity, the space, the storytelling - drew from this core.

Building the Identity
Logo. Brand kit. Tone. Visual language. Positioning. Communication.
These weren't just deliverables. They were the architecture of a brand's soul.
With Soo, be it, every element of the identity was built with the same philosophy the café lives by - be your authentic self, unapologetically, and the space will meet you there. The identity had to feel as effortless as the name. As welcoming as the space. As layered as the story behind it.
When it finally came together, it didn't feel designed.
It felt discovered.

A Space That Truly Holds Space
We knew what this world needed to feel like. Warm but striking. Familiar but fresh. The old wada soul of Pune meeting a modern creative spirit. A space that holds two things at once - heritage and possibility.
The brand philosophy and visual direction were rooted in the blueprint. We wanted to bring the world to Pune - in spirit, in culture, in energy.
But turning vision into physical reality? That was the work of the architecture and interior team, who took everything on paper and made it breathe. They built a space that genuinely reflects the brand it houses - and that's no small feat. Every floor, every corner, every material choice was an answer to the brief we had set together. The result is a space you walk into and immediately feel something, without quite knowing why.

The Mystery That Started It All
We didn't launch Soo, be it with a bang.
We launched it with a whisper.
A slow-burn pre-launch strategy built around one purpose: to make people lean in rather than scroll past. A hint here. A tease there. No reveals - just intrigue, carefully placed and carefully timed.
Curiosity, once awakened, is incredibly hard to ignore.
And before the doors had even opened, people were already talking.

The Grand Launch Evening
Food. Music. Art. Poetry. Good vibes, only.
That was the invitation.
The grand launch of Soo, be it felt less like an event and more like an emotion. Every element had been curated to make people feel something the moment they stepped in.
The evening unfolded in layers. Live music set the tone, followed by poetry storytelling. Then came the launch of MICH - a theatrical poetry experience by one of the artists we platform through our passion project, i-poetry. Through it all, guests moved between food, drinks, and an art workshop that turned the evening from an audience experience into a participatory one.
The boxes we had set out to tick? Every single one of them. Ticked. Check this:
At its heart, Soo, be it was built around a simple, radical idea: freedom of choice, and the celebration of it.
Soo, be it doesn't ask anybody to fit into a category. It simply makes space for all.
What Happened Next: The City Responded
We hoped it would land. We didn't expect it to fly this fast.
Since the launch, Soo, be it has become the talk of the town. Walk-ins flooded in from day one. Content started going viral. UGC poured in organically, people sharing their moments without being asked, because the space moved them to. Collaboration requests began arriving. The buzz crossed city limits - reaching Mumbai, and beyond that, overseas - from people who hadn't even visited yet but already felt connected to the brand.
It felt like everything we had built, every late decision, every line of copy, every carefully considered visual - had found its light. And it was shining in flying colours.
The Journey Is Still On
Here's the honest truth: the response has been overwhelming in the most beautiful and demanding sense of the word.
We're still figuring things out - navigating the operational realities that come with a launch that exceeded every expectation. But the commitment hasn't wavered. If anything, the response has deepened it.
Because Soo, be it was built to be something. And it is becoming exactly that - every single day.
This is what happens when creative thinking meets strategic intent. When teams trust each other enough to build something real. The result isn't just a successful launch. It's a brand that people feel, remember, and return to.
And we're just getting started.
